6th Steering Committee Meeting of the Project "Conservation of Marine Turtles in the Mediterranean Region"
The 6th Steering Committee Meeting of the project “Conservation of Marine Turtles in the Mediterranean Region” successfully took place on the 19th and 20th of October. The virtual meeting marked the progress made in sea turtle research, monitoring of sporadic nesting, strandings and the conservation status of nesting beaches. Moreover, targeted activities have strengthened the national policies in the Mediterranean region and of course raised awareness and engaged people in seaturtle conservation.
The partners reconfirmed their determination to continue at a strong pace the work launched for the sustainability of the project in the years to come.
